Versus: from Latin, versus (“against, turned”), past participle of vertere (“to turn, change, overthrow, destroy”).
Immersed in a sea of backward beliefs, we find modern man increasingly brutalized and enslaved by the intellectual and material consumption industry created by himself. Versus is the name of an exhibition that casts a critical social and political look at this scenario, deconstructing an updated version of the post-industrial world that continues to nourish the human perception with the idea that culture is more real than nature.
