Land, Lake and Landscape, 2017

The natural environment itself is in a constant process of oxidation. Everything is eroded and corroded by the action of time, the same thing that heals and renews, in a continuous process of balance and improvement. It is a non-linear, delicate, time-consuming, and varied process, with so many complexities and confrontations to be considered that it often seems to be out of control. But once the agents are defined, the process remains constant and complete, tending towards harmony. Various aspects of the artistic process match these principles, with the artist as an operator of different methods, techniques, and combinations through unique or inconstant dynamics that find balance in the work.
